Bubbles

Bubbles ( Erick Traplin)
There’s bubbles, bubbles, bubbles in the air bubbles, bubbles, bubbles everywhere
There’s bubbles on the chair, there’s bubbles in my hair
Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles everywhere

I like blowin’ bubbles, I blow them one by one
A little soap and water and the fun has just begun
I blow them in the air, I blow them on my toes
And when I'm feelin’ silly, I blow them out my nose

I pop them with my hands, I pop them with my feet
I pop them in my mouth, they taste kind of sweet
I chase them all around the yard as they go spinning by
If I could I'd chase them, right up into the sky

I like watching bubbles as they’re floating through the air, When the sun shines on them there’s rainbows everywhere
They dance upon a summer breeze and up into the sky
Without a worry, or a care, or a reason why

Chick A Boom
Chick a boom, chick a boom, don’t you just love it
Chick a boom, chick a boom, don’t you just love it
Chick a boom, chick a boom, don’t you just love it
Chick a boom, chick a boom, boom, boom,
Clap you hands, clap your hands, don’t you just love it

Snap your fingers

Stomp your feet

Wiggle your bum

Chick a boom

We’re gonna jump
We’re gonna jump, clap

We’re gonna jump, clap, and spin

Wiggle your bum

Chick a boom

Waltzing With Bears (Traditional)
Wah, wah, wah, wah, waltzing with bears
Raggy bears, shaggy bears, baggy bears too
There’s nothing on earth uncle Walter won’t do
So he can go waltzing, wah, wah, wah waltzing
So he can go waltzing, waltzing with bears

I went upstairs in the middle of the night
I tip toed in and I turned on the light
To my surprise there was no one in sight My uncle Walter goes dancing at night

He goes..

I gave uncle Walter a new coat to wear
When he came home it was covered in hairs
Lately I’ve noticed several new tears
I’m afraid uncle Walter goes waltzing with bears

We begged and we pleaded, oh please won’t you stay
We managed to keep him at home for a day
But the bears all barged in and they took him away
Now he’s dancing with Pandas, he can’t understand us
The bears all demand at least one dance a day

My Super Hero (Erick Traplin)
Here he comes runnin’ down the hallway
Cape flappin’ in the breeze
A fierce look upon his face
He’s searchin’ for mister freeze

He’s gonna save the world, from the bad guys
Make it safe for you and me
Up and down the hall, and in every room
He’s making this world, a better place to be
Here he comes running down the hallway
He’s a super hero to me

He has goodness in his heart
He’s brave and oh, so kind
He’s got to save the world And do it all, before bed time
Here he comes running down the hallway
He’s a super hero to me

There’s no escaping, from his super powers
All the bad guys flee in fear
He’s huffin’ and he’s puffin’ as he fights them on the couch
On the ceiling on the floor
On the chair and out the door
Down the hall into his bath
Till there’s not one, bad guy left in here
Here he comes running down the hallway
He’s a super hero to me

He has goodness in his heart
He’s brave and oh, so kind
He’s got to save the world And do it all, before bed time
Here he comes running down the hallway
He’s a super hero to me
He’s a super hero to me
He’s my super hero, he’s my super hero
He’s a super hero to me, he’s a super hero to me
He’s… a …super… hero… to… me

There’s A Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea
There’s a whole in the bottom of the sea
There’s a whole in the bottom of the sea
There’s a whole, there’s a whole, There’s a whole in the bottom of the sea
There’s a log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

There’s a bump on the log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

There’s a frog on the bump on the log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

There’s a wart on the frog on the bump on the log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

There’s a fly on the wart on the frog on the bump on the log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

There’s a flea on the fly on the wart on the frog on the bump on the log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

There’s an eye on the flea on the fly on the wart on the frog on the bump on the log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

There’s a spec in the eye on the flea on the fly on the wart on the frog on the bump on the log in the whole in the bottom of the sea

Our Bear Larry (Erick Traplin)
There was a bear by the name of Larry
He was big he was hairy, did I say he was scary
And he liked to pick on the little ones
He liked to spoil all their fun
He was scary, our bear Larry
He would push he would shove, he would make fun of
Anyone smaller than him
He would take your lunch, and he liked to punch
It was never any fun around him
Oh no, it was never any fun around him

Now Larry, had a brother called Barry
He was bigger than Larry, he was even more scary
And he liked to pick on Larry at home
Especially when they were all alone
He was scary, Larry’s brother Barry
He would push he would shove, he would make fun of
Larry everyday
He would take his lunch, and he liked to punch
It was never any fun around him
Oh no, it was never any fun around him

Now Larry, met a girl name Mary
She was sweeter than Larry, she was never scary
And she asked him why he acted bad
Why he hurt all the friends he ever had
And Larry, told her about Barry
Well she said it’s time to change your mind
And quit being so grim
I’m sure you’ll find it’s better to be kind
Than to go around acting like him
Than to go around acting like him

Now Larry’s still a big bear, with lot’s of hair
But now he’s not scary
Cos’ he’s learned to share and he’s learned to care
He’s learned to be a very nice bear
That’s Larry, our bear Larry
Now he’ll give you a hug as warm as a rug
He’s a friend to everyone
He’ll share his lunch and he’ll never ever punch
It’s always fun around him, Larry is a lot of fun!
Larry is a lot of fun!
Our bear Larry,
He’s turned himself around
He doesn’t bully anyone
Our bear Larry, our bear Larry, our bear Larry
Larry’s a lot of fun!

There’s A Bug In My Pop (Erick Traplin)
There’s a bug in my pop
Oh Mommy make him stop
He’s eating all my bubbles
Now he’s looking right at me

There’s a bug in my pop
Oh Mommy make him stop
He’s crawling up my straw
Now he’s crawling on my nose

There’s a bug on my nose
Oh Mommy make him go
1,2,3,4, flick, there he goes

If You Feel Like Doing It (Words and Music, Joyce Seamone)
If you feel like doing it…do it
If you feel like singing it …sing it
Don’t let the world pass you by
You’ll never know if you never try
So if you feel like doing it…do it
There’s really not a whole lot to it

If you got a bell than ring it
If you got a song than sing it
Bells are meant to be rung
Songs are meant to be sung
So do me a favour and sing along
Than we just can’t go wrong

If you feel like humming well hum it
If you feel like strumming well strum it
All good things in life are free
I’m so happy just being me
So if you feel like humming well hum it
Even if it’s just for the fun of it

Higher (Erick Traplin)
Higher, higher, higher, higher
C’mon mama, c’mon Daddy push me higher (I want to fly 2x)
I want to swing so high I can touch the sky (I want to fly 2x)
I want to swing up and kiss the sun
I want to swing until the day is done
C’mon mama, c’mon Daddy push me higher, higher, higher, higher
C’mon mama, c’mon Daddy push me higher

There’s nothin’ I like better, than goin’ to the park
With Mom and Dad and a picnic lunch
We can stay until dark
Well the winter’s fun but now it’s done
The summers come and I’m on the run
Look out swings here I come

The jungle gym is fun, cos I love to monkey around
And I play on the merry go round ‘til I’m dizzy and I fall down
I love to slide, I love to glide
I love to run and I love to hide
But when I’m on my swing man I can fly

Mommies (Erick Traplin)
She’ll kiss away the tears That come with aches and fears
She washes up that dirty face
With hands of love and grace
And though the years may fade away
Like memories we shared
She has always loved me, she has always cared

Mommies are made to love you
No matter what you do
They’re full of love and forgiveness
They’ll even clean up your messes
Mommies are made to love you And I know that’s true
Cos my Mommy, she just told me so

Dirty clothes kicked under the chair
All the toys left standing there
Find their way back to their place
Borne in her embrace
Supper’s on the table
Run’s her fingers through my hair
She will always love me, she will always care

And when my heart is troubled, and sorrows come my way
She cuddles up beside me, says I love you, it’ll be okay
Mommies are made to love you And I know that’s true
Cos my Mommy, she just told me so

Questions (Erick Traplin)
Do ants have Aunts, do bees have knees
Do birds have words like you and me
Can butter fly like a butterfly
Or is it best to spread on bread

How many legs does a caterpillar have
How many times can you cut an apple in half
Why is the moon so bright at night
Why is a feather so soft and light

Questions, questions so many questions
So much to do so much to see
Questions, questions so many questions
One day I’ll know an answer to a question no one’s asked But me.

Why does the rain fall from the sky
What makes a rubber ball bounce so high
Why do I close my eyes when I sneeze
Why do I have to say thank you and please

Who puts the pictures in the clouds What makes the thunder sound so loud
How far is up how far is down
What makes the world spin ‘round and ‘round

Yes every answer has a question, Not every question has an answer
That sounds strange, but the answer’s still the same
When you search for the whats and the whys and the wheres
You’ll be sure to find something there
So ask your questions don’t be shy Then you’ll know the reason why
Do the stars twinkle at night
Why do I have to go to bed when it’s still light
What makes a wrong what makes a right
Why do I like it when you hold me tight

Why do the leaves fall from the trees
And when it’s cold why does water freeze
What do you call a guy lady bug
Would it be ok if I gave you a hug

Spoken at end of song….is that your real hair?

Daddy Bear and China Doll (Erick Traplin)
I like taking warm walks with my little girl
She’s full of giggles and frisky as a squirrel
All along sunny streets with a skip and a hop
She’s an angel with curls, she’s my little girl

I’m her big daddy bear, she’s my little china doll
When she rides on my shoulders, I feel ten feet tall
And I can’t help but laugh, when she tickles my chin
And asks to go riding on my shoulders again
I’m her big daddy bear, she’s my little china doll

She finds delight in most unusual things
A fuzzy caterpillar, or a dragon fly’s wings
She’s sweeter than sugar, and I love her so From the top of her head, to the tip of her toes

Hand in hand we walk, all around the block
Then with reaching arms she turns to me, saying
“Daddy, carry me”.

Chorus, 2x, then tag

It’s a Happy Day
As I was walking down the street I was feelin’ kinda neat
Sun was shinnin’ birds were singin’, Bells were ringin’, I was thinkin’
Oh my, my don’t you think it’s great To be in a happy state
And smile at all the folks you meet
as you’re walking down the street

It’s a grand day, it’s a glad day
It’s an h.a.p.p.y… it’s a happy day
It’s your day, it’s my day So I’ll give my smile away On this hap, hap, happy day
2nd ,3rd, & 4th chorus ( so we’ll give our smiles away On this hap, hap, happy day)

Take my hand and come along
And join me in a song
We’ll sing of love we’ll sing of peace
We’ll sing of joy and happiness
And on this day so bright and new That’s here for me and you
We’ll wash our sorrows with a smile
And let the sun shine through

With hearts as light as butterflies
Under blue and sunny skies
We’ll walk with a giggle,
We’ll giggle with a jiggle,
We’ll jiggle with a wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle
And as this day turns into night
We’ll put a smile away
And take it out in the morning To start another day
